Chapter i

The Challenge.

I won the opportunity to be Business Advice Manager to the Big Lottery Advice Services Transition Fund. It included the development and implementation of a business plan for the transformation of the Advice Sector.

Chapter ii

The Strategy.

I focused on Greenwich, highlighted as being in the Top 10 deprived areas in London. My strategy included a pilot Employee Benefits Scheme designed to help those on low incomes access legal advice. First Advice helped solve their issues in Money, Housing, Employment and Welfare. Working alongside Chris Minnoch, Lawyer and MD of Greenwich Housing Rights, I advised on implementation in the local community. We partnered with the University of Greenwich for technology.

Chapter iii

The Result.

This online income-generating solution was funded by the Big Lottery Fund. It was produced by Greenwich Housing Rights. The pilot scheme projected a 51% saving in advice time and a 32% increase in revenues.
